What is recorded here

Death and memory are tangled there. A ringfort stands in pasture on a SE-facing slope, marked LI011-144---, while the graveyard itself has no visible grave or marker left for the living to point at. One upright stone was removed within living memory, and local tradition says human remains surfaced when an avenue was cut north of the fort. The dead did not leave a clean line; they scattered into soil, story and forgetting.
In pasture, on SE-facing slope. Though not indicated on OS 6-inch map, site of graveyard occupied by remains of ringfort (LI011-144---). No visible surface trace of graves or gravemarkers though, according to landowner, a single upright stone was removed from interior within living memory; also local tradition of human remains being discovered during construction of avenue immediately N of ringfort.
