What is recorded here

Depicted as a roofed building (dims. c. 15m E-W; c. 7m N-S) and described as the ‘Site of Church’ on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map where it is within a rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 25m NW-SE; c. 20m NE-SW). It is situated at the E edge of a plateau with a slight valley immediately to the E. The church is now marked by a sycamore tree but there are no visible remains of a structure, enclosure or burial at ground level. The site of Templeshelin Well (WX030-041002-) is c. 60m to the E.
