Inis Mór, County Galway: a possible medieval church stood at the north end of Cill Rónáin, aligned east to west. By 1899 the site had vanished from the second edition of the Ordnance Survey map, leaving behind only a vegetable garden. Whatever worshipped there did so quietly, and the island kept the quiet by growing tomatoes where the altar may have stood.
