Cloghcastle vanished before human memory, leaving only a hidden castle ghost on a gentle E-facing slope in County Wicklow. The 1838 map still claims the site, but no wall, gate or tower remains for a visitor to touch. Whatever lived there has returned to soil, keeping its name but surrendering every room.
