Situated on a gentle E-facing slope. Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (max. diam. c. 45m). Price (1949, 131) states that the field in which it had stood was known as the reiligin, indicating the presence of a burial ground. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
