Sheepfolds

In rough hill pasture, on a break, on the steep S-facing slopes of Knockantooreen. A roughly circular area (4m E-W; 3.6m N-S) defined by a roughly constructed and partially collapsed, drystone wall (T 0.4m; H 1m). Large stones occur in the base of the wall. There is rubble scattered in the interior. Another enclosure (KE103-001----) adjoins the SW arc. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
