Sheepfolds

In rough hill pasture, on an E-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Feabunaun stream. A rectangular area (6.6m NE-SW; 4.5m NW-SE) defined by a partially eroded, grass-covered bank (Wth 1m; H 0.5m) of earth and stone at NE, SE and SW and by a drystone wall at NW, which is shared with an adjoining hut site (KE102-026----). There is an entrance gap (Wth 0.8m) at the SE corner. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
