What is recorded here

Indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a group of three buildings, two of which are roughly L-shaped, arranged around a yard or open space apparently with orchards or plantations to W. On the 1895 OS 6-inch map the complex is indicated as being in ruins and appears to be roofless. The layout of the buildings is roughly similar to that on 1846 OS 6-inch map although some appear to have been extended to form continuous ranges. Compiled by: Elizabeth Byrne, Ursula Egan and Sheila Ronan, Archaeological Survey Unit, University College, Cork. Date of upload: 30 May 2011
