Seilg Geodha is a coastal rock feature located within the Na h-Eileanan Siar archipelago, composed primarily of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rocks in the British Isles, dating back approximately 2.7 to 3 billion years. These metamorphic rocks formed deep within the Earth's crust through high-pressure and high-temperature processes and are notable for their resilience to erosion, shaping the rugged coastal landscape of the Outer Hebrides.
