What is recorded here
On level ground overlooking a steep SE-facing slope. At present the site is c. 50m from the shore of Blessington Reservoir. Hexagonal graveyard (c. 29m N-S; 38m E-W) defined by a modern wall. The graves are concentrated on the W side where there are several 18th, 19th and 20th century slabs. The earliest identifiable grave dates to 1747. A curving dip in the ground on the NE side of the site may represent the perimeter of a circular enclosure (WI005-027001-).
