Situated on a gentle ESE-facing slope. Rectangular enclosure hachured on the 1838 OS 6-inch map, and named as 'Sandy Banks'. Not visible at ground level and no local memory of site at this location. May have been a sand quarry. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
