A Celtic High Cross-style monument erected to a design by Richard Francis Caulfield Orpen (1863-1938) of South Frederick Street, Dublin (Irish Builder 9th April 1921, 230), contributing positively to the group and setting values of the Saint Columba's College complex with an inscription commemorating 'THOSE MEMBERS OF THE COLLEGE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES ON ACTIVE SERVICE BETWEEN THE 4TH DAY OF AUGUST 1914 AND THE 11TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 1918' (cf. 60220029).
