Ruins of Windmill is a windmill in Elphin, County Roscommon, Ireland. Edward Synge, Church of Ireland Bishop of Elphin, built it around 1750. The structure stood on a mound defined by a fosse, though that mound is no longer visible.

Built by Edward Synge, Church of Ireland Bishop of Elphin, c. 1750 (Rynne 2006, 25). Described as in ruins on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a level landscape. A restored tower mill (int. diam. c. 4m; H c. 8m) of three storeys, with lintelled doorways (Wth 1.15m) at E and W. It is lit by small rectangular windows at the first and second floors and has a thatched roof, sails and a rotating cap. It stood on a mound (RO016-102001-) (diam. 32m E-W) defined by a fosse (Gannon 1972), but the mound is no longer visible. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
