Semi-detached two-bay two-storey house with attic accommodation, built c. 1875, having gablets, projecting gabled end bay with box bay window and timber gable fronted porch to front (south) elevation. Two-bay single-storey extension to west elevation. Pitched slate roof having timber bargeboards and rendered chimneystacks having recessed panels. Ornate timber bargeboards with quatrefoil motifs and finial to porch. Rendered walls with render stringcourse to recessed block and render plinth course. Paired blind lancet niches to gabled end bay and west elevation. Square-headed openings having replacement uPVC windows and painted sills throughout. Render label mouldings to breakfront, first floor and ground floor windows. Square-headed opening having overlight and timber panelled door. Square-headed opening to porch with chamfered timber surrounds and overlights over half-glazed timber panelled double-leaf doors flanked by sidelights with panelled risers.

Built as a pair, this house is one of a number of similar, substantial buildings built on the High Road in the late nineteenth century. Characterised by Victorian features such as its irregular plan, varied roofline, decorative render and timber details, the house is distinguished by the quality of these details, and the highly ornate Gothic style timber porch.
