What is recorded here

Described by Kinahan (1884, 226 (stone D)) as 'a small peaked stone with two cups and two gashes. One of the latter seems to be much more recent that the other marks, which appear to be ancient in date.' The location indicated by Kinahan (1884, 224) was inspected by ASI in 1990 however this stone was not located. Likely dating to the Neolithic or Bronze Age, the rock art may have had ritual or symbolic significance, with the cups possibly representing water, fertility, or celestial markers. The more recent gash suggests later modification, potentially reflecting changing use or meaning over time.
