Tullakeel holds a rock art mystery in County Kerry because a small fence stone disappeared after Graves recorded a short spiral in 1877. Moss and forgotten boundary changes may have hidden the stone, while the spiral remains alive in memory. The loss turns the site into a drifting marker, inviting people to imagine what the spiral recorded before the fence itself changed.

Graves recorded that 'a short portion of a spiral' was found on a small stone in a fence near KE091-049---- (1877, 288). This stone has not been located. The above description is derived from A.
