Rock art

What is recorded here

Described by Kinahan (1884, 231-2 (stone D)) as 'having its surface very much weathered, so that all the markings except a cup to the east are very indistinct. Besides this cup there are two very indistinct cups and two carvings that seem to be combinations of cups and gashes. There is also to the northward what may be a gash, but it is so indistinct that possibly it is only due to weathering.' The location indicated by Kinahan (1884, 231) was inspected by ASI in 1990, however this stone was not located. Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 21 August 2013
