What is recorded here

Don 11G records a large flat outcrop a little lower and south of the main site, holding faint traces of single cupmarks. Those shallow marks may have guided a hand, measured a shadow or simply pleased the person who struck them. They still wait beneath grass and rain for someone to look closely enough to remember what they did.
Described by Van Hoek as 'A little lower and S of DON 11G (DG004-063002-) is a large and flat outcrop rock with some faint traces of single cupmarks' (Van Hoek 1987, 33). Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien Date of upload/revision: : 30 May 2010
