Three shallow cup marks, no wider than a thumbnail, sit embedded in a bedrock sheet beside a public road in County Donegal. They join a dense field of rock art across the heather, suggesting this ordinary roadside once served as a canvas for human expression. The small depth and repeated shape hint that someone struck the stone deliberately, marking time or memory on a surface still exposed to weather and passing wheels.
