Derrynablaha hides cup-and-ring marks beneath moss and grass on a Kerry slope. The stones likely watched river valleys during deep time, while human hands made temporary roads across them. Find one ring and the whole region stops pretending it has no memory.

An exposed section of otherwise peat-covered rock outcrop, sloping upwards to W, features a cup-and-ring and three cup-and-two rings. Two of the latter are conjoined (Finlay 1973, 88-9). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. In rough pasture, on an E-facing slope (183m OD), overlooking the Kealduff River valley to ENE. Low rise of rock outcrop, c. 2m to S of drystone wall field boundary (as per Finlay 1973). Motifs not visible as their precise location upon this outcrop is unknown as it is completely obscured by sod, heavy mosses and grasses. According to O’Sullivan & Sheehan (1996), ‘an exposed section of otherwise peat-covered rock outcrop, sloping upwards to W, features a cup-and-ring and three cup-and-two rings.
