Large flat topped boulder, adjacent to Loughadoon path. bearing at least one small cup mark. Identified as rock art by George Currie (2018). Compiled by Matt Kelleher Date of upload: 29 May 2018

Likely dating to the Neolithic or Bronze Age, the cup mark on the boulder may have held ritual or symbolic significance, possibly linked to water or fertility given its location near a watercourse. Such features are often associated with wider ceremonial landscapes in western Ireland.
