Unlocated togher mentioned in the 17th centuryCivil Survey description of the barony of Ballybritt as the 'togher of Clonbegg' (Civil Survey X, 28; Lucas 1985,58). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
