What is recorded here
A two-layered structure (L 61.8m; Wth 3.1m; D 0.33m), lying just 0.3m above the mineral soil, is composed of a compact longitudinal roundwood and brushwood superstructure (diams. 0.02-0.05m) above a thin, dispersed layer of brushwood (hazel, birch and yew) four rods deep. Some of the roundwood (diams. 0.17-0.195m) was identified as ash. A number of pieces are worked into wedge and chisel points. Hazelnuts were present within the structure.
