Within an extensive tract of the Mullagh-Woodquay raised bog. The remains of a togher (L c. 200m, Wth 1.5m) came to light during turf-cutting operations, c. 0.4m below the present ground surface. Composed of brushwood, it is visible intermittently in the cut-away bog running on a NNE-SSW axis. According to local information, 'tallow or butter dishes' were found fairly close to the togher, and a number of hazel nuts were found amongst the brushwood.
