Ritual site, holy tree/bush

What is recorded here

According to Mullally (1862-63, 148) there is 'an anicent stone in a garden in Cloran, near Fethard (Tip.). It is placed near a large tree, which is a 'leacht,' or monument tree'. The garden mentioned appears to be that associated with the house nearest the burial ground (TS071-011--6-) at Cloran Old, however, there is no surviving tradition of a holy tree in this area and its location within Cloran Old townland is unknown.
