Located towards the top of a N-facing slope that forms the S side of the steep-sided valley of the E-W Corrock River. It is on the S side of a forest road in a coniferous forest. The name of the townland to the E, Cloghulatagh, is derived from Cloch Chodlata - the stone of sleep - and undoubtedly refers to the saint's stone (Pers. com. Conchubhar Ó Crualaoich). Traditionally, St. Munna (Ó Riain 2011, 505-07) of Taghmon (WX041-008----), which is c. 2km to the S, slept here overnight, having watered his horse at the well (WX036-036001-), c. 100m to the E.
