What is recorded here
Boundary walls and entrance to Ringmahon House, built c.1850. Smooth rendered sweep walls flanking limestone ashlar wall with limestone coping and having ashlar square-profile piers surmounted by ashlar lintels with concave finial bases and cast-iron gates. Pedestrian cast-iron gate to west.
A fine limestone ashlar entrance that contributes to the setting of the house it serves, and also to the streetscape. The Victorian cast-iron gates are a good example from this period.
