What is recorded here

One of two similar ring ditches excavated (Licence no. 04E0680) in advance of development. Located on a hill that rose from north to south, the ring ditch was associated with a group of cist inhumations (DU005-139----). The ring ditch contained a cremation deposit associated with fragments of a Navan-type fibula and a glass bead. A date calibrated to 200 BC – 10 AD was recovered from the cremation (Carroll et al. 2008, 126). Compiled by: Christine Baker Date of upload: 2 February 2015
