What is recorded here
Relickeen is a children's burial ground on a low pasture rise at the northern edge of Timahoe bog in County Kildare. The site spans roughly thirty metres, marked only by uneven ground, overgrown ash and hazel, and a simple wooden fence. No stones or crosses break the surface, yet the name itself carries the truth: small bodies rest beneath the grass, forgotten by time but never by the land.
On a low pasture rise on the N margins of Timahoe bog. A roughly circular area (diam. c. 30m) is defined by an uneven ground surface overgrown with ash, hazel and some thorn, and enclosed by wooden post and rail fencing. No visible burial markers, but the site name 'Relickeen' suggests a Children's Burial Ground.
