Circular-profile chimneystack, built c. 1860. Red brick walling, tapering shaft, stone sting course, ashlar limestone cap supported on corbels; chimneystack rests on square profile brick base surmounted by projecting stone coping supported on stone brackets. Chimney stack situated within large former industrial complex.

This impressive chimneystack, formerly part of a cotton weaving mill and now part of a functioning saw mill, is a significant marker part of the industrial heritage. Its good condition is testament to the quality of nineteenth century workmanship.
