Detached four-bay two-storey house, c.1845. Reroofed, c.1970. Refenestrated, c.1995. Pitched roof with replacement artificial slate, c.1970, clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods, c.1995, on rendered eaves. Painted rendered, ruled and lined walls with rendered channelled piers to corners. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, moulded rendered sill course to first floor, and moulded rendered surrounds. Replacement uPVC casement windows, c.1995. Square-headed door opening with replacement timber panelled door, c.1995, having overlight. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.

This house is an attractive composition of balanced proportions and symmetrical plan that retains its original form to the upper floors: the arrangement of the door opening to ground floor suggests a subsequent alteration to this portion, possibly to accommodate a commercial use, although the present displacement continues a symmetrical form. The house is an important component of the streetscape, contributing to the historic quality of Lower Yellow Road, where many of the surrounding buildings have been replaced in the late twentieth century.
