Terraced three-bay two-storey house, c.1920, retaining original aspect. One of a pair. Pitched (shared) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered (shared) chimney stack, rendered coping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted roughcast walls with painted rendered plinth. Square-headed window openings with rendered stepped sills and surrounds (shared between storeys). 1/8 timber sash windows to ground floor with 1/1 timber sash windows to first floor. Square-headed door opening with rendered surround having moulded entablature over, and glazed timber panelled door with sidelights and overlight. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.

This house, built as one of a pair, is an attractive and well-proportioned building that retains its original form and fabric. The fittings to the window openings, together with the rendered panels, produce an attractive visual effect in the composition. The house, together with the second in the pair (22828048/WD-09-28-48), is a prominent feature in the streetscape, contrasting with the predominantly Victorian character of the remaining buildings on Gracedieu Road.
