Gateway, c.1900, comprising pair of limestone ashlar piers with cut-stone capping, wrought iron double gates, and sections of random rubble stone flanking boundary walls to perimeter of site. Road fronted at entrance to grounds of Saint Joseph’s House.
An appealing gateway of simple appearance incorporating fine stone work to the piers, and elegant wrought iron gates, which enhance the design quality of the composition.
