Usher’s Quay Watch House    Watch House is depicted on the southern side of the River Liffey at the east end of Usher’s Quay at the junction with Old Bridge (DU018-020042-) which connected Bridge Street with Church Street. Annotated ‘W H’ on Rocque's 1756 map of the city and suburbs of Dublin. On this map a rectangular building aligned on an E-W axis is depicted standing parallel to the River Liffey, immediately to the west of Old Bridge.
