Terraced two-bay three-storey house, built c.1810, with rear return. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Ruled-and-lined render to walls with rendered quoins and plinth. Timber sash windows with stone sills. Round-headed door opening with timber door, Gothic style fanlight with intersecting glazing bars and rendered keystone. Concrete steps to front door. House fronts onto the street.

The modest and well proportioned form is enlivened by its simple yet elegant door opening incorporating fanlight and wel executed rendered keystone. Such decorative features enhance the building's status within the streetscape of Carrick-on-Shannon.
