Field system in Toberrory is a field system in Toberrory, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies about eight hectares at the head of a slight valley on the northeast-facing slope of Rathcroghan ridge. Roughly rectangular fields appear east of the rath, while a sweat-house remains visible as an oval mound built into one bank. The Grallagh fields lie about two hundred metres north, and the Caran Fort fields lie about five hundred metres west.

At the head of a slight W-E valley on the NE-facing slope of Rathcroghan ridge, and part of the unified field system at Rathcroghan. An area of c. 8 ha (c. 19 acres) contains field banks (Wth c. 2m; H 0.2-0.6m) forming roughly rectangular fields (dims c. 30m x. c. 60m) E of rath (RO022-056030-). The remains of a sweathouse (RO026-056051-) is built into one of the banks and is visible as an oval mound (dims 5.6m x 4.4m; H 0.8m) with a rectangular hollow (dims 2m x 1.4m). The fields in Grallagh (RO022-056010-) are c. 200m to the N, and the fields (RO022-056025-) associated with Caran Fort are c. 500m to the W. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
