It occupies a rectangular grass-covered area on the flood-plain of a SE-NW section of the River Suck, positioned roughly 100m SW of the fortified house. A shallow fosse or silted drain, measuring 2.3-3m wide and 0.1m deep, defines its boundaries. The internal dimensions reach 47m NW-SE and 25.4m NE-SW.
On the flood-plain of a SE-NW section of the River Suck and c. 100m SW of the fortified house (RO041-031001-) is a rectangular grass-covered area (int. dims 47m NW-SE; 25.4m NE-SW) defined by a shallow fosse (Wth c. 2.3-3m; D 0.1m) or silted drain.
