Font in Tlachta

One chamber holds an octagonal font base, shallow enough to touch but old enough to have watched every ceremony in the building. Its central drain-hole and chamfered edges suggest water was not merely displayed; it was used, emptied, and returned to the world outside. The chamber may have been busy with prayer, mischief, birth, grief or ordinary presence, yet the font remains the clearest marker that the room was made for repeated human ritual rather than passive display.
