It preserves a circular early medieval enclosure about 25 metres across, with a 1.75-metre-high bank and a 3-metre-wide, 0.8-metre-deep ditch. Vegetation covers most of the earthwork, but the southern and south-western arc remains measurable, and a second enclosure lies about 20 metres to the south on the east-facing slope.
