What is recorded here

In pasture, on elevated area of an E-facing slope, with good view of Galtee Mountains to S. Circular area (diam. c. 25m) defined by bank (overall Wth 8.75m; Wth at top 1.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.75m) only seen at S-SW and obscured by dense vegetation elsewhere. Fosse (overall Wth 12.25m; basal Wth 3m; D 0.8m) also only seen S-SW. Interior densely overgrown with vegetation (H 1-1.3m). Concrete structure c. 10m to S. Enclosure (TS060-094----) is c. 20m to S. Named 'Rathcloheen' on latest edition OS 6-inch map. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
