Terraced two-bay two-storey local authority house, built 1908/12. One of a group of twenty-four. Pitched (shared) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered (shared) chimney stack having stepped capping supporting yellow terracotta pots, and iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves having iron ties. Roughcast walls. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and two-over-two timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening with cut-granite step, and replacement glazed timber panelled door. Street fronted with concrete footpath to front [SS].

An amiable small-scale house built as one of a group of twenty-four identical units (including 15603186) making a pleasing contribution to the streetscape aesthetic of The Shannon with the stepped roofline following the gradient of the street. Having been well maintained, the house remains as one of the last in the group to retain the simple architectural attributes together with most of the original fabric, thus upholding some of the character or integrity of the collective ensemble in the street scene.
