What is recorded here

Indicated is an overgrown stone ringfort at the southeast end of a small ridge in County Leitrim, where a circular space nearly twenty-nine metres across still holds its shape beneath grass and forgotten time. Its steep scarp rises as much as three metres on the northeast side, while wall foundations emerge through soil on the west, suggesting a boundary built to keep something out or contain something valuable. The entrance has disappeared entirely, denied even to memory, which fits a fairy fort better than any human house. People may have lived there before becoming legend, but the absence of a door suggests the place stopped answering human requests a long time ago.

At the SE end of a small ridge. This is an overgrown circular area (int. diam. 28.8m NE-SW) defined by a stone-covered scarp (H 1.65m at NW to 3m at NE) with foundations of the wall visible W-NW.
