Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Suirville is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Suirville, County Tipperary, Ireland. An aerial photograph from 20 August 1991 identified a crop mark of a large circular area about 70 metres across, defined by three enclosing fosses. The site sits on a very gradual rise of an east-facing slope with a low, gradual rise in the western side of the field, though no visible surface trace exists at ground level.
On very gradual rise of an E-facing slope. No visible surface trace. Low, gradual rise in western side of field. Identified by aerial photograph (GB91.EO.06 20 Aug. 1991) as crop mark of a large circular area (diam. c. 70m) defined by three enclosing fosses. Mound (TS068-042----) c. 220m to ESE and Suir Castle (TS068-043----) is visible c. 380m to ESE, on opposite side of river. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
