Structure

An oak plank (Wth 0.19m; D 0.05m) in the drain face. The wood is in poor condition and the timber conversion cannot be determined. It is located at a transition from poorly to well-humified Sphagnum peat. This timber is 5.5m from SMR OF007-083---- and is orientated in a similar ENE-WSW direction. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
