Graveyard in Straboe, County Carlow, Ireland: O'Donovan (OSL 1839, 336-7) found the north wall of a church and a large burial ground; now about eight metres of boulder wall and scattered stones remain, with a medieval grave-slab fixed to the wall. Tradition says service moved from here to Kinneagh, leaving behind a quiet threshold where the dead were once named before the living went elsewhere.

According to O'Donovan (OSL 1839, 336-7), remains consisted of N wall of church ( CW003-017001-) and site of large burial ground. Present remains consist of c. 8m of boulder-built wall and a scatter of boulders. No other visible traces of church or graveyard (CW003-017003-). Large medieval grave-slab now affixed to wall (CW003-017002-). According to tradition, service was transferred from here to Kinneagh. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 19 August 2011
