'A standing stone is recorded at this site in Tonavane and is marked on the OS 1st Edition 6" sheet as "Gallaun". The stone was extant until the mid-1950's (local information) and was of red sandstone approximately 1.9m in height. The stone was in close proximity to an enclosure and Man-made underground passage (KE038-004- & KE038-005-).'
