Standing stone marked at this location by Peter Danaher while carrying out a survey of archaeological sites in Co. Kildare in 1955. Located 40m to the W of a ringfort (KD038-020----). Date of upload: 16 September 2016
Probably dating to the Bronze Age, the standing stone may have had ritual or territorial significance, possibly linked to the nearby ringfort. No specific folklore or detailed use is recorded for this site.
