Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Sheefin is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Sheefin, County Westmeath, Ireland. This small, slightly raised oval area, approximately 26 metres in diameter on a northeast to southwest axis, sits on the edge of a steep high scarp offering extensive views from south through west to north. It is enclosed by a substantial earthen bank, well preserved from north-northeast through south to southwest, and a deep external fosse that has been disturbed by rabbit burrows. A 2.3 metre wide entrance gap exists at the southeast, and the monument is located within a tree plantation.

Situated on the edge of a steep high scarp with extensive views from S-W-N. A small slightly raised oval shaped area (approx. diam. 26m NE-SW) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and deep external fosse. The bank is well preserved from NNE-S-SW. The fosse has been disturbed by rabbit burrows. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.3m) at SE. The monument is now located in a plantation of trees visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011. See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
