Cairn called Giants Mill — Report the wrong picture

Giants Mill holds three cist burials: two within the cairn and one outside the kerbstones. The north cist kept a food vessel and bones, the east cist a food vessel and cremation, while the outer cist held a human skull. People may have placed the third body beyond the main chamber because that person belonged to the mill but not its heart.

Two cist burials were found in the cairn of a passage tomb (DU008-013001-) and a third lay W of the kerbstones (Newenham 1838, 247; Ó Ríordáin 1968, 165). The cist at the N end of the cairn contained a food vessel and skeletal remains, the cist at the E contained a food vessel and cremation.
