On a slight W-facing slope. Rectangular grass-covered platform (dims 42.2m E-W; 41.5m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank at N (Wth 3.6m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.2m) and complete flat-bottomed overgrown fosses or moats (Wth of base 2.8-3.2m; D 0.4-1m). There is a causeway (Wth 3.4m) at the SE angle, and the outer edge of the moats at W and S is truncated by field banks and hedges. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
